We have a variety of visitors here at the ranch from Cowboys to City Slickers and this month the rough, winding mountain roads where challenged by a collection of vintage cars thats cruised down the dusty roads.The Classic Car Adventures rally car group were doing a trial run of a rally route up through the mountains to test their old cars on the harsh roads, and they went spectacularly!
Chilcotin Holidays was the pit stop in the middle of their trip, a few hours off to stretch their legs, have a BBQ and spend some time with a different kind of horse power! There were 6 Classic Cars and a support car with 1 Driver and 1 Navigator per car.
They started their trip in Vancouver and made their way up to Lillooet and along Carpenter Lake, apparently their cars loved the never ending turns! After they had settled in, we all spent some time admiring the cars and the horses even came out to have a look. Then it was time to relax in the ranch house with a well earned beverage after the 40c+ day in cars without AC and... all that dust!
