Close to Nature

There are always a lot of opportunities at the Ranch to have new experiences, such as building a new frame for a prospector tent with everybody. We first put two big logs on the ground to put plywood planks over them. This way, the tent does not stand directly on the ground. We already had all the pieces for the frame, so we only had to assemble them the right way. After a few tries, we managed to do so and we could put the tent over the frame. It fit perfectly and we were all very proud of each other. In total, we spent a few hours outside with everyone assembling the tent for our campsite. Spending time outside in the fresh air can be beneficial for your body and soul. I find inspiration outside that I then can use in my work life. The campsite's location is surrounded by beautiful bright green trees, giving you a stunning view whenever you leave the tent.

Sleeping in the tent is very comfortable, as they are big enough to have two beds in them plus other furniture. You are also always around fresh air which contributes to a healthy sleep. Hearing all the different sounds that nature makes at night like raindrops, wind, animals and roaring rivers is very calming and it will make you fall asleep in no time. You definitely will not hear any disturbing noises like you would in a city, which can be loud and annoying. Sometimes the air might be a bit cold, but you will hardly feel it and it will only make your warm sleeping bag even cozier. In the morning when you wake up, you'll not have a room with stuffy air in it but it will be fresh and cool, perfect for getting up.

Overall the prospector tent is a great way to be close to nature as you are only separated by a thin canvas which will protect you from the wind. I really like staying in my tent cabin and it quickly felt like home. I have never felt this close to nature before in my life!
